'Arrow' casts Tahmoh Penikett of 'Dollhouse' fame

tahmoh-penikett-getty.jpgIt's a good day for the Whedonites! Tahmoh Penikett, whose performances on Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse" were wildly underrated (as was the show), has landed a key role on The CW's "Arrow."

The "Battlestar Gallactica" fan favorite will play a lackey and right-hand man to Frank Bertinelli (Jeffrey Nordling) -- who happens to

be the father of The Huntress, AKA Helena Bertinelli, who will be played by Jessica de Gouw. The Huntress, a highly anticipated character, will serve as a love interest to our leading man Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell)... you know, when she's not exacting her brutal revenge plan against those responsible for the deaths of her loved ones.

No word yet on whether Penikett's role will recur. THR first reported the casting.
