"Arrow" Season 3 will feature John Barrowman as a series regular for the first time. What does this mean for the character of Malcolm Merlyn? For now, the actor is keeping his secrets closely, but he did spill just a few teases when talking to Zap2it.

"Oh yeah, I know lots," Barrowman first replies when asked about upcoming "Arrow" plots. Unfortunately, he follows with, "But if I told you, I'd have to send somebody out there to kill you."

So that's it for a chance to get every last detail on the return of Merlyn to the show. At least Barrowman was willing to tease that it's going to be great. "I know some of what's going to happen," he says. "And for 'Arrow' fans, it's going to be an amazing Season 3."

One thing Barrowman would talk about was Malcolm's apparent resurrection from the dead after Oliver Queen seemed to have killed him back in the Season 1 finale.

"What you have to understand is that Malcolm Merlyn, he might not have died," Barrowman explains. "He just knows how to do things -- in the same realm as 'Sing Your Face Off' [Barrowman's new ABC show] -- to do an impression of being dead. It's not always what it looks like and things are explained later."

Thus, whatever is coming for Malcolm Merlyn and for "Arrow" in the fall, at least fans are likely to get some answers.
