"Arrow" already has one spinoff -- "The Flash" -- as it goes into Season 3, but could there be another coming soon? Rumors from Comic-Con 2014 indicate that the Suicide Squad might be the next target for its own program.

The source of the rumors seems to be actor David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle on "Arrow." While speaking to reporters in San Diego, Ramsey spilled the beans that his show's producers might be looking to bring more Suicide Squad to the DC television universe.

"They're talking about spinning Suicide Squad off," Ramsey tells ComicBook.com. "I don't know if they're going to really do it, but they've been talking about it."

Why the Suicide Squad? This group of villains with special skills includes some fan-favorite characters like Deadshot, Bronze Tiger and potentially even Harley Quinn. They got a dedicated episode in Season 2, when Diggle and Lyla White worked with the criminals to achieve a goal. Viewers apparently were excited.

"People really respond to the Suicide Squad, responded to Deadshot a lot and to Harley Quinn and Bronze Tiger," Ramsey explains. "The consensus is that the writers and producers see this stuff in social media, they see this stuff on the boards and they don't completely bend their will to it but they answer the questions and the curiosity leads the writing to a certain degree."

How would the Suicide Squad work on its own? "The talk has been kind of connecting the tissue of the last season to the beginning of the next season with maybe some Suicide Squad during the hiatus perhaps," Ramsey says. "That's been one option. The other option has been having two or three episodes during the season."

"Arrow" Season 3 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
