'Arrow' stunt coordinator teases big Season 2 surprise: What could it be?
If you're obsessed with The CW's biggest hit of last season, you are probably counting down the days until "Arrow" returns with all-new episodes on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8 ET (check out all of The CW's fall premiere dates here). But seeing as how that is still 99 days until we are blessed with Stephen Amell's
portrayal of Oliver Queen again, here's a little bit of "Arrow" news that should help dull the pain of this long summer hiatus.
"Arrow" stunt coordinator James Bamford took to his Twitter on Tuesday (July 2) to share a tease that we couldn't help but over-analyze.
Big rehearsal taking place today for a big surprise on #Arrow....season 2.....BIG!!!!-- James Bamford (@JamesBamford) July 2, 2013
Now, this is a tease so vague, it hardly even counts as a real tease. "Arrow" shocked viewers all season long with big surprises each week, culminating in a heart-wrenching Season 1 finale that found Oliver's ex-best friend Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell) sacrificing himself to save his ex-girlfriend/Oliver's current girlfriend Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy).
We know that "Arrow" loves to make good use of flashbacks in each episode, so could we possibly be in store for a flashback featuring a still-living Tommy? Maybe back in the good old days before Oliver was shipwrecked on that fateful island?
Hey, we can dream, right? What do you think Bamford is referring to? Hit the comments with any and all speculations, and let's ride out these next 99 days together.
