'Arrow': The Black Canary's identity revealed
But who is the Black Canary, really?
According to an article posted by E!Online, Lotz will play Laurel's sister. Is this the presumed-drowned Sara Lance back from her watery grave? Is there another sister?

The comments on the matter, coming from CW president Mark Pedowitz, don't really clarify this.
"I hope she brings a certain amount of conflict since she's playing the sister of Laurel Lance," Pedowitz said at the TCA press tour.
Unfortunately, Pedowitz would neither confirm nor deny that Lotz's character -- presumed by many to be the Black Canary -- is the tough young woman seen in promos for "Arrow" Season 2. "It's an origin story," he said. "I don't know if this character is the Black Canary or not the Black Canary, so it is in origin story. But remember, Laurel Lance was the Black Canary in the DC universe."
It's likely that the true identity of the Black Canary will be similar to the identity of the villainous Merlyn in Season 1. Originally, people thought Tommy was the bad guy. Only later did it turn out that his father, Malcolm Merlyn, was the true nemesis for the season.
