Ashton Kutcher fires back at Justin Moore about ACM performance: 'Know when to fold 'em brother'
The whole fun started at the Academy of Country Music Awards when Kutcher took the stage in a black hat and red Western-style jacket and then sang some of George Strait's tune "I Cross My Heart." Moore didn't take kindly to this.
"Seen Ashton Kutcher at the ACMs tonight. What a d*****! I don't care for people making a mockery of the way country artists dress," Moore says on Twitter. Moore then went on to trash Kutcher on Fox 411 Country saying he found the performance "distasteful."
Kutcher has since defended himself and thrown a couple of barbs at Moore. The "Two and a Half Men" star writes on Twitter, "I grew up idolizing the style of the Highway Men, Hank, Merle, Patsy Cline, Dolly. Starting to wonder if new country just doesn't get it." He adds, "Justin Moore calls it mocking, I call it respecting your Elders. Maybe that's old fashion. Know when to fold 'em brother."
But Moore fires back at Kutcher saying, "Go listen to Alan Jackson 'Gone Country' brother...You can't hang with me on old country buddy. Not gonna happen."
Moore isn't the only country star to take on Kutcher over his ACM performance. Miranda Lambert was slightly miffed as well. She says on Twitter, "Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I'm kinda wondering?"
