When Audra McDonald won for her role as Billie Holiday in "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill" for best lead actress in a play -- her sixth win total -- she became the first actress to ever win six Tonys. As if breaking that record wasn't enough, McDonald also became the first person to win in four different performance categories.
