Avril Lavigne says 'Hello Kitty' video isn't racist: What do you think?

Hey all of you saying Avril Lavigne's "Hello Kitty" music video is racist: Knock it off. She doesn't appreciate it. In fact, Avril spoke out on Twitter about how racist it isn't, proclaiming her love for everything remotely Japanese. What she didn't defend was how completely awful it was.

"RACIST??? LOLOLOL!!! I love Japanese culture and I spend half of my time in Japan," she tweets. "I flew to Tokyo to shoot this video specifically for my Japanese fans, WITH my Japanese label, Japanese choreographers AND a Japanese director IN Japan."

In case you couldn't tell, Lavigne really wants everyone to know she likes Japan. Take a look at the video and decide for yourself. Is it racist? Let your voice be heard in the poll below.
