desiree-hartsock-bachelorette.jpg Desiree Hartsock was eliminated from "The Bachelor" this past Monday (Feb. 18), after her hometown visit seemingly did not go very well. Almost immediately following her ouster, former "Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky tweeted that we just saw the next Bachelorette go home.

Desiree couldn't spill the beans on that, but she did tell Zap2it that it's something she's definitely interested in.

"Being on 'The Bachelor' was a very emotionally draining experience to go through. If I were offered the opportunity to be the next Bachelorette, I would definitely have to think about it -- make sure I'm prepared to get back on that emotional roller coaster," says Desiree. "But I do believe in the experience. I know the feelings are real and I do believe it can work out for the best. I'd probably say yes to the opportunity."

As for what caused her elimination from Sean's season of "The Bachelor," Desiree does think her brother played into it.

"I don't think that my brother helped my chances in staying. I think that did have some to do with Sean's decision, but ultimately, he made the best decision that he could and maybe there will be a better explanation at the 'Women Tell All,'" says Desiree.

"In the moment, I felt that we had the best connection. That I embodied all the qualities he wanted in a wife," she continues. "So in that moment, I did feel it was a terrible mistake. However, looking back, he did have great relationships with the other girls. All things happen for a reason, so I don't think it was a mistake."

What do you think, "Bachelor" fans? Do you want to see Desiree as the next Bachelorette?
