'Back to the Future' on Broadway: Would you buy a ticket?

back-to-the-future-grab.jpg "Back to the Future" producer Robert Zemeckis is in early talks with co-writer Bob Gale and the movie's composer, Alan Silvestri, to come up with a plan for a staged version of the 1985 classic.

Obviously, we'd expect it to be a musical adaptation and the source material offers plenty of opportunities for odes to DeLoreans, flux capacitors and Marty McFly.

The original starred Michael J. Fox as McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, the scatterbrained genius who transports them both back to the 1950s in a souped up DeLorean.

In September, a pair of Marty McFly's self-lacing Nike Air Mags sold for $37,500 -- so clearly there's money to be made by going back to "Back to the Future."

What do you think? Would you see "BTTF" live on Broadway?
