Bacon milkshake: Jack in the Box gives us a 1,081 calorie reason to go veggie

Bacon shake.jpgThis news is either going to make you throw up in your mouth a little or run to the nearest Jack in the Box, screaming your love for bacon at the top of your lungs. The fast food chain is introducing the Bacon Shake. After the recent Jack in the Box commercial where a man marries bacon, we suppose we shouldn't be too shocked.

Forget that. We are. Now, there aren't pieces of bacon, aka meat candy floating around in the shake. It actually contains real vanilla ice cream, bacon-flavored syrup, whipped topping and a maraschino cherry, according to the website.

We know bacon is all the rage these days. There is bacon chocolate, bacon donuts ... bacon-flavored tooth floss ... we really don't know how to process that last one. But a bacon milkshake? Shudder. Still want to drink it? Here's the nutritional info: A 16-ounce bacon shake will deliver a bacon-flavored 773 calories, 28 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat and 75 grams of sugar. The 24-ounce size weighs in at a whopping 1,081 calories, 37 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat and 108 grams of sugar.

If you are brave enough to try this, please let us know what you think, because there is no way we're going to ingest this monstrosity. If you'd like to be freaked out a little more, check out the "Marry Bacon" commercial below.
