'Bad Grandpa' star Jackson Nicoll thinks he has better ideas than Johnny Knoxville
With "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa" the No. 1 movie at the box office, young star Jackson Nicoll stopped by "Live with Kelly and Michael" to chat about the flick. The 9-year-old was absolutely priceless as he shot down Kelly Ripa for calling him "cute as a button." "Buttons aren't cute," he quips.
Johnny Knoxville shares the stage with Nicoll in the most recent "Jackass" movie, and Nicoll says he's been a fan of all of the franchise's predecessors. Still, he thinks he had something to add to "Bad Grandpa."
"He's a smart aleck," Nicoll says of his costar. "He's dumb and smart but we're dumb and smart. He makes good ideas for the movie but I make a lot better ones."
Nicoll is currently in elementary school and says only some of his peers know about his fame. His first movie role was in "The Fighter," and he says he only remembers "punching Mark [Wahlberg] in the nuggets and eating a lot of watermelon from craft services."
As for his favorite school subjects, Nicoll admits, "Math, breakfast, lunch, getting out of school. Getting out of school is my favorite subject, and a little bit of math." Sounds like he's definitely ready for the world of Hollywood.
"Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa" is currently in theaters.
