Bald Cynthia Nixon says being gay is a choice
"I've been straight and I've been gay, and gay is better," she says in the NYT. "I understand that for many people it's not, but for me it's a choice, and you don't get to define my gayness for me."
She's drawing fire for her statements from bloggers Perez Hilton and John Aravosis and celebrity chef Cat Cora who on Tuesday's "The Talk" said: "I'm gay and I was born this way and what she said is dangerous and irresponsible."
Is Nixon trying to stir up a little controversy as she kicks off her run as a cancer-stricken professor in Broadway's "Wit?"
On Tuesday, the actress appeared on "The View" and talked about her newly-shorn head.
"I thought it was going to be kind of no-muss, no-fuss, but I have to shave it every day," she says.
