With Monday being President's Day, most government departments will be closed. That includes the Oval Office, as President Barack Obama is at an exclusive golf club in Florida called, fittingly, The Floridian. It makes sense, as Obama is a fan of the game, playing when the opportunity arises.
This trip's a bit special, though. The president played with iconic golfer Tiger Woods, for the very first time Saturday, according to Golf Digest. The pair were joined by others, including golf instructor Butch Harmon, who says, "The President said to Tiger, 'The last tournament you played was fun to watch. It's good to see you play well again.' You could tell he meant it."
Obama stayed on the green for 27 holes, though Woods left after the first 18. It's nice of Tiger to make room in his schedule for the president, as surely he was busy caring for his probably-girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn.
