'Batman v. Superman' makes Comic-Con 2014 debut with Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck and footage

Warner Bros. kicked San Diego Comic-Con Day 3 into high gear when it launched its Hall H panel with surprise footage of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice." Stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot all took to the stage as the crowd went nuts over their first actual look at WB's first crossover superhero movie.

It's very unlikely that the footage shown will make its way online, but here are some teases inside the panel courtesy of Twitter.

No details of the film have been released, as the trio of actors and Zack Snyder said hello to the Hall H crowd before getting "back to making the movie." Fans should be happy to know that Affleck's Batman seems to be wearing Frank Miller Dark Knight armor.

/Film has a great description of the teaser trailer shown, saying: "The short teaser opens with Batman in a fully armor suit from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. glowing eyes, raining. He puts on the light on the bat signal with the new Batman logo (reminiscent of the one from Miller's comic). Slow pan up to Superman, illuminated in the sky amongst the pouring rain with his red glowing eyes. ... It looked like the Frank Miller comic come to life through the lens of Zack Snyder."
