beardless-duck-dynasty-brother-alan-robertson-joining-cast.jpgThe colorful Robertson clan on "Duck Dynasty" is about to add another member to its on-screen family -- Alan Robertson, the oldest son of Phil and Miss Kay is going to be joining the show for its fourth season, reports the New York Post. Alan says he sees it as an opportunity to spread the word of God.

"What I do for our church -- you see, it's a pretty good-sized church -- impacts a lot of people, but because of my association with the show, I'll get to minister to a lot more people," says Alan. "Any person that's an evangelist, that's what you want to do, so I had to give this up for something possibly bigger."

Lisa, Alan's wife of 29 years, says she's a little nervous about joining the show.

"I'm just worried about coming in and not being able to perform on the spot. Everyone else has three years of experience filming," says Lisa.

Alan thinks show will also gradually introduce their two daughters, Anna and Alex. Anna works at Duck Commander, the family's duck call company, and Alex is starting a food truck that is to be parked in front of the West Monroe Duck Commander store.

"We'll have burgers, etouffee and other Louisiana-style food. It'll be called Willie's Duck Diner [after her Uncle Willie]. We want to make it a whole experience for fans that come from all over to the store," says Alex.

Alan adds that he thinks viewers will see even more of the family's faith now that he's going to be a part of the show.

Season 4 of "Duck Dynasty" premieres Aug. 14, 2013.
