Bears hire coach: CFL's Marc Trestman to replace Lovie Smith

Trestman, a former NFL offensive coordinator, has spent the last five years as a head coach in Canada's league. During his tenure in Montreal, Trestman was able to coach his team toward two Grey Cup titles, the CFL equivalent of a Super Bowl victory.

That isn't the only change being made to the Bears' coaching staff, though. An anonymous source claims the Bears are also hiring New Orleans Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, though the move hasn't been announced yet. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys announced on their website that special teams coach Joe DeCamillis is leaving the team to join the Bears as assistant coach and special teams coordinator.

Lovie Smith was let go from the Bears following a 10-win season and failing to make the playoffs five of the six last seasons.
