'Bethenny Ever After' premiere: 'Somehow, it's interesting,' Frankel says
"We did nothing differently. I never do," Frankel says on a recent press call. "That's why it's such an exhausting process because it's not me and six other women where you can split the time between us. It's just really me. I'm pretty much [in] every scene of the whole show so it's just a lot of work. It's a lot of work and you don't want to complain because you're so lucky. I was doing, you know, writing my book and other projects and had a new baby."
In Season 2, we'll see Bethenny's aftermath of getting married to Jason Hoppy, having her daughter, Bryn, and keeping her businesses rolling. But, really the draw of the show is watching Bethenny in her native habitat and she says there will be plenty of that.
"It's a very real reality TV show. It's a reality sitcom," she says. "It's kind of like 'Seinfeld' where there are just these different characters that appear and these ridiculous situations just happen to appear. And it's pretty much just my normal life. It's just what really goes on. It's not all that glamorous. It's only glamorous if I have to do something glamorous for work... I'm hanging with my family. That's all we really do, but somehow it's interesting."
