Bethenny Frankel divorce takes a turn as Jason Hoppy files his own papers
Jason Hoppy is not letting his Bethenny Frankel divorce happen without a fight. Her divorce papers revealed that the reality star is looking for a number of important things from their split, like primary custody and child support, and Hoppy has served Frankel his own papers asking for the same things.
Via TMZ, Hoppy has asked for everything Frankel wanted from him: Custody of their two-year-old Bryn, medical and dental coverage for himself and the child, making the two of them Frankel's life insurance beneficiaries and "exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence," meaning their New York City apartment. Beyond that, he wants Frankel to pay for his lawyer and accountant fees.
This certainly goes against the previous report that said Frankel wanted to "work this out privately and amicable" so that it "works out the best way possible for Bryn." If anything, Hoppy seems like he's responding with a divorce declaration of war, though a simple solution doesn't seem entirely out of sight.
In a statement announcing their divorce, Frankel said, "[Hoppy and I] have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority." Now's the time to prove it.
