Bethenny Frankel reveals miscarriage on 'Today'

Bethenny Frankel.jpgBethenny Frankel lives in the spotlight, she reveals on "Today" that not everything happens on camera. The reality star appeared on the show to promote Season 3 of "Bethenny Ever After," but ended up revealing that she and her husband suffered a miscarriage while the show wasn't taping.

On the show, host Savannah Guthrie asks Frankel if the couple is planning to add to their family, which includes 21-month-old daughter Bryn. Frankel replies, "It's a very personal question. We were pregnant with a second baby, and at eight weeks, I miscarried."

Frankel talks about the experience, telling Guthrie that she has great sympathy for infertile couples and saying that she's not sure if they'll try again. "Until you become a woman you don't know the things that come with being a woman," she says. "And I'm 41, and I don't know. It's not really my choice. It's not really my option. The window's closing."

We wish the family the best. Check out her interview below.
