Bethenny Frankel separating from husband Jason Hoppy
Former "Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel has announced that she and her husband of two years, Jason Hoppy, are separating. According to the 42-year-old, this move brings her "great sadness."
"This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family," Frankel tells the Associated Press. "We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter [Bryn] who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us."
Frankel and Hoppy tied the knot and welcomed Bryn into their lives in 2010, two years after Frankel rose to fame in "RHONYC." The couple starred in the Bravo TV show "Bethenny Getting Married?" and then, after Frankel announced she wouldn't be returning to "RHONYC," they continued airing their relationship in "Bethenny Ever After."
Earlier this year it was rumored that Frankel and Hoppy were getting a divorce. At the time, the Skinnygirl mogul responded by plugging her new talk show "Bethenny," saying, "We're going to talk about EVERYTHING on my show! June 11 on Fox Broadcasting."
