betty-white-getty.jpg Betty White, America's cool grandmother, turns 90 on Tuesday (Jan. 17). To celebrate the big day, NBC is throwing an all-star bash for the nonagenarian.

" Betty White's 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America's Golden Girl" will feature a number of A-Listers honoring White, a multi-time Emmy winner. Some of the attendees include Ellen DeGeneres, Morgan Freeman, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan and William Shatner.

Following gala, White will kick off her new show " Betty White's Off Their Rockers." The show is essentially " Candid Camera" or " Punk'd" with seniors doing the punking.

It's been quite a ride for White recently. Her series "Hot in Cleveland" just got picked up for a fourth season. And if that wasn't enough, her role as Elka Ostrovsky earned her an Emmy nomination in 2011 and a Screen Actor Guild nomination in 2012. She also just published the book " Betty & Friends: My Life at the Zoo."

The birthday bash airs on Monday (Jan. 16) at 8 p.m. ET. "Off Their Rockers" follows, starting at 9:30 p.m. ET.
