Following revelation that Beyonce lip-synced the national anthem at President Barack Obama's inauguration, she's making it very clear that the same thing won't happen when she performs at the Super Bowl.

At a press conference held about her Super Bowl halftime show, Beyonce clarified that she will "absolutely be singing live" for the performance. To prove that she can, in fact, sing the nation anthem live, Beyonce performed "The Star Spangled Banner" for reporters gathered at the conference, Fox News reports.

She also opened up for the first time about her decision to sing along to a prerecorded track of her own voice during the presidential inauguration.

"I am a perfectionist," Beyonce explained. "And one thing about me: I practice 'till my feet bleed. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show ... Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check ... I did not feel comfortable singing live."
