Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show criticized by PETA

Beyonce wore a Rubin Singer leather bodysuit for the occasion, which was made from python, paneled iguana and leather.

PETA was not pleased and issued the following statement: "We would take a bet that if Beyonce watched our video exposes, she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully. Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonce's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score."

As the New York Daily News reports, PETA also took issue with the Christian Dior mink coat Beyonce wore to President Obama's inauguration.

Of course, her inauguration performance sparked other, higher-profile criticisms, while the Super Bowl performance has been generally well received.
