"The Good Wife" star Christine Baranski has signed on to return to "The Big Bang Theory" for an early Season 7 episode in her role of Leonard's ( Johnny Galecki) socially-challenged genius mother Beverly, TVLine reports.

Baranski's last appearance on the CBS' hit comedy was in Season 5's premiere, where she popped up via Skype to advise Leonard on his love triangle with Penny and Priya.

When she shows up in the Oct. 10 episode, it'll again be through Skype, as Baranski's "Good Wife" duties make it hard for her to leave the East Coast. While it's unclear what brings Beverly into the fold this time around, TVLine teases that, given her hilarious and bizarre connection to Jim Parsons' Sheldon, fans shouldn't automatically assume it's Lenard she's hoping to see.

"The Big Bang Theory" returns for Season 7 with back-to-back new episodes on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
