'Big Brother 14': Janelle may be in serious dangerAdd to Favorites | Big Brother
So, Boogie and Frank have been working Britney/Shane/Dan/Danielle hard this week to backdoor Janelle, saying no one can trust her and that she's got half of the house on her side. It's not exactly half -- more like just Joe and Ashley (and maybe not Ashley), but that's their argument. Well, the other four have been waffling, but it sounds like they've come around.
Boogie and Frank have finally convinced HOH Danielle that Janelle needs to go and the six of them should align. There was a "decisive" meeting (which won't be truly decisive 'til we see what Dani does at POV), but they came away calling themselves The Silent Six.
Meanwhile, Janelle tried to come up to the HOH room while they were all meeting. When she knocked on the door, they ignored her and wouldn't let her in. Which obviously got Janelle's radar pinging, but there wasn't much she could do.
Britney feels super guilty about doing this to Janelle and is definitely the weak link. Whether she can buzz in Danielle's ear long enough to change Danielle's mind remains to be seen, but she might be able to. Dani's pretty impressionable.
Though Danielle does have a Shane kiss on the line. In another stellar act of self-worth, she told Shane she should get a kiss for the Janelle plan and he says she can have one when she goes through with it. Ughhh. We realize Shane needs to stay in Danielle's good graces (both this week and in the alliance in general), but he needs to stop this.
There is not a lot of word about who Dani will take down to put Janelle on the block. We think Wil is a no-brainer. Not only is he no longer picking up what Janelle is throwing down, but Danielle keeps herself some insurance by leaving Frank on the block. Someone who is a huge threat will go home. Wil is not a huge threat, at least not yet.
Speaking of Wil, he's got a new alliance going with Ashley and Jenn. Whether that even matters in the face of the Silent Six remains to be seen, but at least they're finally waking up and playing the game.
What do you guys think of the Silent Six alliance? On the one hand, it's nice not to see the veterans aligned together. But this is almost as bad. And it's an alliance that might work for awhile because it's three coaches and their three BFFs, so everybody has a buddy and is therefore kind of protected.
But the show is going to get old real quick if those six just run roughshod over everybody. It'd kind of cool if they align and backdoor Janelle (which will be fireworks-filled) and then somebody from the other side of the house wins HOH.
