'Big Brother 15': Spencer Clawson's employer 'does not condone his comments' in the house
Spencer Clawson, who has been heard numerous times on the live feeds using the F-word about gay contestant Andy, calling the women in the house "c***s" and praising the medical research work the Nazi doctors did in concentration camps (yes, really), has had a statement released about his comments from his employer, Union Pacific Railroad:
The values represented by Spencer Clawson's comments during the Big Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific's values. Mr. Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments.
Union Pacific is acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson.
Now, while Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman have had their ties with their respective employers/talent agency severed, that is not the case here and it likely won't be even when Spencer leaves the house. He's a member of a union and likely cannot be fired for off-color comments made on a television show.
Still, it's nice to see his employer at least acknowledge what is going on and speak out against it. As always, you can sign up for the live feeds to watch all this ridiculousness for yourself.
