big-brother-16-derrick-caleb-CBS.jpgSomething interesting is finally brewing almost happened in the "Big Brother 16" house. Read on to find out what, but be warned of spoilers from the live feeds.

This week, Brittany and Victoria were the nominees left standing after the Battle of the Block competition and then (in a bit of a surprise, honestly) Victoria won the Power of Veto competition. It was one of the "take a punishment, take a reward"-type comps, so other people ended up with various things: Caleb got $5000, Brittany had to kick a soccer ball into a goal 2400 in 24 hours (and she did it, it was definitely beastmode Brittany), etc.

The plan then had been to nominate Donny once Victoria saved herself and then to vote out Brittany. It basically stemmed from the all-guys alliance not trusting her.

However, things looked like they might get interesting when Donny got his hustle on Monday (July 21) and seemed to convince Cody that Caleb should be nominated beside Brittany.

Unfortunately, Cody complete wussed out and nominated Donny. After the POV ceremony, Cody was visibly upset, calling himself a "motherf***ing p****." Feed-watchers are pretty much in agreement with him, if Twitter is any indication. Frankie, meanwhile, is telling Cody he made the right decision and he acted "courageously."

Um, no. The bold move would have been to nominate Caleb. But Cody took the path of least resistance and now the game is in danger of losing one of its most popular players -- because the smartest move for the house is get Donny out.

The plan is to evict Brittany, but a lot can change between now and Thursday. Hmm. What do you think, "Big Brother" fans? Remember, sign up for the live feeds to follow all the action.
