Bill Condon reminds us Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren't really Edward and Bella
Just in case you also had the idea that he and Kristen Stewart were bound for all of eternity like Edward and Bella, director Bill Condon is here to burst your bubble -- or at least remind everyone that Pattinson and Stewart are, after all, actors.
"The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it's not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that," Condon, who directed both parts of "Breaking Dawn," tells EW.
That reminder, of course, came courtesy of some paparazzo shots of Stewart making out with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders in July. Despite its two leads' personal tumult, though, Summit, the studio behind the "Twilight" films, says it will be moving "full steam ahead" with promotion for the second "Breaking Dawn" movie.

"Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the 'Twilight' movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon," Condon continues. "Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it's time that some of that respect be returned to them."
