Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher managed to escape a car accident without injury in New York City on June 23. Both he and the woman at fault for the accident did not need to be taken to the hospital.

According to The New York Daily News, Cowher was driving north in Manhattan in a Mercedes-Benz when a woman going in the same direction driving a Ford Fusion cut him off in an attempt to turn onto E. 92nd St. Cowher's car hit the woman's, and the Ford Fusion hit nearby scaffolding and cracked a pole.

Even though Cowher isn't coaching anymore, he's still involved in the world of football. He currently works as an analyst for CBS' "The NFL Today."
