A Texas oilfield driller and star of "Black Gold" on TruTV was arrested March 27 on drinking and driving charges. According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, Brandon Watson was picked up on his second charge of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, as well as two charges of failing to stop after hitting an unattended vehicle.
Police say they arrested Watson at one of three alleged hit-and-run accident sites, after he became argumentative. The oil driller was allegedly unsteady on his feet, and slurring his speech. In addition to the hit and runs, police also report he hit a utility pole. He was released on a $1,500 bond. Watson has previously been documented on the show getting arrested for driving on a suspended license.
"Black Gold" is a reality series that follows the workers of three different Texas oil rigs. The show ended it's fifth season in February.
