Amy Winehouse's
ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is "shattered" over the singers sudden death on Saturday.

Fielder-Civil, who is currently in prison serving 32 months for burglary and a firearm offense, is said to have collapsed upon hearing the news of Winehouse's death.

His current girlfriend and mother of his newborn son, Sarah Aspin, was granted visitation rights and confirms his distressed condition.

"He is devastated and shattered," Aspin tells The Sun. "He just can't take it in that she's dead and he'll never see her again."

Fielder-Civil married Winehouse in a small ceremony in Miami in 2007. Though the majority of their marriage was plagued with drug and alcohol issues leading to their 2009 divorce, Blake claims he will never love anyone the way he loved Amy.

"I will never ever again feel the love I felt for her," he tells The Sun via Aspin. "Everybody who knew me and knew Amy knew the depth of our love. I can't believe she's dead."

Despite their rocky relationship, Aspin still thinks Blake and Amy were meant to be.

"Blake is the father of our son. But I saw him and Amy together and I know they were really in love and they were soul mates."
