It would appear the rumors may not be all that far-fetched of tension between "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton and his wife, "Mama's Broken Heart" singer Miranda Lambert, over a certain blonde-haired fellow coach of Blake's.
Shelton reveals in a new behind-the-scenes video that he at one time had a little thing for Christina Aguilera.
"Having Christina and CeeLo back here this year, it's almost like they never left," Blake says. "I mean, we fall right back into our idiotic crap that we say to each other. I mean, it's like the family's back together again." So, he thinks of Xtina as a sister, right? Well, apparently that wasn't always the case.
During a hang session in the "coach compound," Shelton and Aguilera reminisce with Adam Levine, CeeLo Green and host Carson Daly about the moments when they each met for the first time.
"My heart pounded when she came walking in," Blake tells Carson of Christina. "Remember that? I was -- oh my God, such a crush. And now my heart pounds out of fear."
Back in their coaches' chairs for the blind auditions, the group continues to riff on each other as the cameras catch their sibling-like rivalries. The whole crush thing may be the only new revelation in the clip, but the best part is when Adam does his "I'm a country singer" impression of Blake.
