Blue Ivy Carter: Youngest Billboard charter ever

beyonce-jay-z-pregnant-twitter-mtv.jpg Willow Smith may want to watch her back. Blue Ivy Carter, the just-born daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z is officially the youngest person to ever appear on a Billboard chart.

Here's how it happened: Within 24 hours of his daughter's birth, Jay-Z released the new track "Glory" which features a recording of Blue's first seconds of life -- breathing, cries and coos. And since Jay-Z is the kind of guy who gives props where due, he gave his daughter a "featuring" credit on the song: The song is officially called "Glory (featuring B.I.C.)."

So when the song debuted at no. 74 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Blue became the youngest person to ever chart.

As noted by Billboard's Chart Beat blog, Jay-Z borrowed the idea from Stevie Wonder, who did the same thing on his "Isn't She Lovely," which was about daughter Aisha. Though Wonder's song didn't reach charts until two years after she was born, which left her title vulnerable to younger, hungrier babies.
