'Bob's Burgers' honors 'Battlestar Galactica' 10th anniversaryAdd to Favorites | Bob's Burgers
"Battlestar Galactica" turned 10 on Sunday (Dec. 8). It's hard to believe so much time has passed since the groundbreaking series premiered on Syfy, but the show has left behind quite the legacy and it's easy to see how it has helped pave the way for other high-quality content being created today.
In honor of "BSG's" big day, "Bob's Burgers" gave the series an adorable nod to show some recognition. It was small and easy to miss, but there's no calling this a coincidence.
Bob's Burgers always has an array of different Burgers of the Day in every episode. In the Dec. 8 episode "Bob and Deliver," one of the burgers was named Edward James Olive-Most, after "BSG" lead Edward James Olmos.
So what would go in an Edward James Olive-Most burger? There was never much of a variety of food on the Galactica, so the burger would be pretty simple: sun-dried tomatoes (they last longer than normal tomatoes, after all), a slice of American cheese, bacon in honor of that time he had a rad mustache and, of course, olives. Bill Adama would approve.
