andrew-leeds-bones-abc.jpgSeason 6 of "Bones" found the series sending one serial baddie to prison and another to the great beyond.

So while the show might be down a sniper and a sociopathic gravedigger, it's about to get... a hacker?

First reported by TVLine, "Bones" has added actor Andrew Leeds ("Desperate Housewives," "Dirt") as recurring villain Christopher Pellant. A "tech-savvy" "hacktivist," Pellant hardly seems like typical foil for Booth ( David Boreanaz) and Brennan ( Emily Deschanel).

We'll first meet him in episode 6 of the new season -- its Winter finale before going on hiatus to make way for midseason pseudo-spin-off "The Finder" -- when he begins a mysterious murdering spree from the comfort of his own home. (A previous Department of Defense hack left him under house arrest, as you might imagine.)

How much more you'll see of Pellant in the second half of the season seems to depend on how many episodes "Bones" will serve up as part of Season 7. The order currently stands at just 13.
