Bono on back surgery: 'I was losing the ability to walk'

bono.jpgTurns out that U2 lead singer Bono -- who recently had to postpone the band's US tour (and an appearance at Glastonberry music fest) to have serious emergency back surgery -- wasn't sure if he would ever walk again.

Bono, 50, had a slipped disc in his back that then punctured a ligament and broke into two pieces.
