"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" was No. 1 at the box office with a three-day total of $141.3 million. That figure beats opening numbers for "Breaking Dawn - Part 1," but falls just short of the film franchise' record -- "New Moon" opened in 2009 at $142.8 million.

"Skyfall" made way for "Breaking Dawn 2," but still managed to rake in $41.5 million at the No. 2 spot.

"Lincoln" expanded total theaters and rounded out the top three with $21 million, leaving "Wreck-It Ralph" with a respectable $18.3 million
