Box Office: 'Hunger Games' beats 'Wrath of the Titans,' 'Mirror Mirror' -- shocker, right?

Hunger-Games.jpg "Hunger Games" continues to dominate the box office. In fact, it passed $200 million. It's likely to hit $250 million by the end of the weekend. Not only is the film at the top of the charts, but the book is still in the number one spot in America as well. The film took in $18.8 million on Friday, according to Box Office Mojo.

In second place, "Wrath of the Titans" grabbed $12.4 million in its opening weekend. It's projected to hit $37 million this weekend, but it's numbers are way lower than the first film "Clash of the Titans," which opened with $61 million.

"Mirror Mirror," the first of the dueling Snow White films opened in third place with a disappointing $5.9 million, considering the media blitz and pretty costumes. In fourth, "21 Jump Street" is still holding strong with $4.6 million. In fifth place, " Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" took in $2 million, followed by "John Carter" with $530,000.

In seventh place, "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" took in $340,000 and "Act of Valor" grabbed $292,000. In the ninth and tenth spot, "Project X" and "October Baby" walked away with $255,000 and $259,000 respectively.
