Box Office: 'Skyfall' back on top as 'Playing For Keeps' flops

daniel-craig-skyfall-james-bond-box-office.jpgThe latest James Bond flick, "Skyfall," is back at No. 1 this weekend, after dipping below "Breaking Dawn" last week. Raking in $11 million in its fifth week in theaters. "Skyfall" has broken a Sony record previously held by Tobey Maguire's "Spider-Man 3," becoming the distributor's highest-grossing movie with $918 million in worldwide tickets sales.

The only significant new offering of the weekend was "Playing for Keeps," starring Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel. The film was a certifiable flop, grossing only an estimated $6 million despite pervasive marketing.

The romantic comedy, which also stars Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Dennis Quaid, stars Butler as a washed-up soccer star who tries to make amends with his family by coaching his kid's little league. It's Butler's second flop of the season, as his surfing drama "Chasing Mavericks" also failed to draw an audience.

The full Top 12 is below, with the weekend gross followed by the total gross for the film.
