twilight-breaking-dawn-1-robert-kristen-new-batch.jpg "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" has not relinquished its hold on the Thanksgiving box office after Friday night (Nov. 25), as it earned $16.9 million according to studio estimates. The fourth "Twilight" movie is on track to earn over $60 million during the five-day holiday weekend, which would bring its domestic total near the $250 million mark.

"The Muppets" earned an estimated $12.3 million on Friday, which puts its five-day estimates over $40 million. Not a bad opening for the first theatrical "Muppet" movie since 1999's "Muppets from Space."

"Happy Feet 2" was third with $5.1 million, followed by the two new family releases - "Arthur Christmas," with $4.55 million and "Hugo," with $4.53 million.

The rest of the Top 12 is as follows:

6. "Jack and Jill," $3.8 M
7. "Immortals," $3.5 M
8. "Puss in Boots," $2.96 M
9. "J. Edgar," $1.99 M
10. "A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas," $630,000
11. "My Week with Marilyn," $607,000
12. "Moneyball," $125,000
