thor-nat.jpgMovie-goers swarmed the multiplex on Saturday to boost "Thor's" box office take to a respectable $66 million -- just $4 million short of projections. But that's just in the U.S. -- the movie also took in $46 million in international ticket sales.

Speaking of overseas viewers, Universal's Vin Diesel-fronted "Fast Five" broke the studio's all-time foreign weekend mark, according to The Wrap, grossing $86.6 million. The previous record-holder was "King-Kong" with $84.3 million.

Two rom-coms -- "Jumping the Broom" and "Something Borrowed" -- also did decent business taking in, respectively, $13.7 and $13.2 million.

Rounding out the top five was the animated "Rio," which grabbed $8.2 million in ticket sales -- down 44 percent from last week, per Box Office Mojo.
