Boy whose cat saved him from dog sleeps through 'Today' interview: Watch the cute video

The video of the cat who saved a young boy from being attacked by a neighbor's dog has become a viral hit on the Internet, so it's no surprise that "Today" interviewed the family about the experience the day after they shared their experience on the Internet. But young son Jeremy, 4, was so tuckered that he slept through the entire interview while his parents relayed their story.

"It's honestly just a blur," mom Erica Triantafilo says during the May 15 interview. "I just remember hearing him and the next thing I know, I see my cat flying out of nowhere, onto this dog, and just remember trying to get my son and get the dog away and back in its yard, away from both of us that it was trying to attack."

According to Triantafilo, the dog will either be rehabilitated with the family or put down. Meanwhile, Tara the cat is going to be the VIP of the Triantafilo family for a while. As for Jeremy, he was likely so tuckered not only from his terrifying experience, but also because it was around 3:30 a.m. PT when this interview was conducted.
