Bret Michaels expected to make full recovery at neurological center in Phoenix

bret-michaels-phoenix.jpg Bret Michaels' treatment location has been undisclosed up until this point, but TMZ is now reporting that he's at one of the most prestigious neurological centers in the world.

According to Michaels' rep, the rocker is currently a patient at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix (also the home the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center).

Michaels is being treated by neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Zabramaski, who released a statement confirming that his condition is "serious." However, he adds, "Bret's sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable."

Dr. Zabramaski also said the following about Michaels' treatment:

"Mr. Michaels will continue to undergo testing considering we have hit a few roadblocks, including hyponatremia, severe cranial and back pain suffered from blood drainage, an emergency appendectomy performed a week earlier and a lifelong history of Type 1 diabetes."
