Brett Ratner's video apology: 'Happy Endings' star Adam Pally's best guess
We didn't really notice before, but "Happy Endings" star Adam Pally totally looks like a younger, far more attractive version of controversial "Tower Heist" director Brett Ratner.
Ratner, of course, is currently under fire for dropping a gay slur at a Q&A panel, and for subsequently making a few uncalled-for comments about his relationship with actress Olivia Munn. After GLAAD reacted to his slur, he resigned as a producer of the 2012 Academy Awards... and let's just say the Academy wasn't exactly sad to see him go.
Ratner apologized via statement, but thankfully, we've got Pally to show us what the whole debacle would have looked like on video via a brilliant FunnyOrDie reenactment. Have we mentioned we love him? We love him. It's pretty much the greatest thing since "New Girl" actor Max Greenfield did... well, this.
Ratner's actual apology was far less interesting: "I apologize for any offense my remarks caused. It was a dumb way of expressing myself. Everyone who knows me knows that I don't have a prejudiced bone in my body. But as a storyteller I should have been much more thoughtful about the power of language and my choice of words." Zzzz.
