Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lutfi allegedly explains hair-shaving incident
Sam Lutfi, the former manager of Britney Spears who is leveling a defamation and libel lawsuit against her parents, sought to give a new explanation for why his ex-client infamously shaved her head in 2007. According to his testimony yesterday (Oct. 23), Spears got rid of her hair because she was concerned it would test positive for drugs.
"She told me she wanted to get clean but she was struggling with it," Lutfi told the court, according to E! News. "I told her it was very difficult to kick a drug habit ... but I told her she needed to do it. I explained to her that society was not going to tolerate a mother with two kids abusing drugs."
This subject was something that Lutfi promised would be discussed earlier this month. Lutfi also alleged he found crystal meth in the "X Factor" judge's home. Spears won't be on hand to testify because her conservatorship prevents her from doing so. Stay tuned for more on this ongoing story as it comes out.
