Britney Spears is in talks to write a novel based on her life
Britney Spears is starting up a new business venture: Novelist.
Following in the footsteps of celebrities like Lauren Conrad, Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff, Spears is currently having "discussions" with HarperCollins' imprint It Books to write a novel, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. And, like Conrad's "L.A. Candy," Spears' new book will offer up a fictionalized take on her own life.
Though this news is confirmed by Spears' rep, it's not set in stone yet and there's no tentative release date for the book. Spears has quite a busy schedule between her gig on "X Factor" and her music career, but at least she has plenty of experiences to draw from for her novel. From her rise to fame at a young age to her infamous string of marriages to her breakdown and finally to her reemergence as a world-renowned pop star, Spears' story is one that deserves to be told again.
