Brooke Shields faces 'Furry Vengeance'
Brooke Shields delivered a heart-wrenching and emotional speech at friend Michael Jackson's memorial service. Now it's time for something lighter.
Shields will join the cast of nature-versus-city folks movie "Furry Vengeance," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie will be Shields' first major film role since her parts in the late 1999 movies "The Bachelor" and "Black and White."
She'll play wife to real-estate developer Brendan Fraser, who drags his family to the country to turn it into suburbs. The local wildlife is not amused, and decides to fight back.
Shooting begins soon for a summer 2010 release.
