'Brothers & Sisters': David Marshall Grant heads up the family

David Marshall Grant replaces Monica Breen and Alison Schapker as the new "Brothers & Sisters" showrunner, TVGuide.com reports.

Grant has worked his way up. He joined the show during the second season as a writer and co-exec producer. Breen and Schapker will stay on as executive producers.

Grant is also an actor known for playing one of the first gay couples on TV on "thirtysomething" and has appeared in "The Stepford Wives" and "The Devil Wears Prada" on the big screen.
