Bruce Jenner nose job explained: Skin cancer surgery
Bruce Jenner's fight against skin cancer continues. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star recently got a nose job to treat the disease in his face.
On Sept. 17, Jenner was photographed with a heavily bandaged nose, which sparked speculation about why he had gone under the knife. He came clean to E! News and explained his most recent surgery.
"I was diagnosed with ... Basal cell carcinoma and have undergone Mohs surgery to remove it," Jenner explains. "I have been struggling with this for several years and appreciate all of the support and prayers while I continue to fight the battle against skin cancer."
Jenner previously underwent a surgery to have a cancerous lesion removed from his cheek. Sources say Jenner is recovering fine from this bout of treatment.
"This has taught me to be extra vigilant when out in the sun and I encourage others to get regular checkups and always wear sunscreen," Jenner says.
